FAQ

Do you deliver?

YES!!! We offer FREE DELIVERY to work or home to make your life easier. All you have to do is ask! We are able to save payment methods to your account in our system, or you can pay by cash or check at the time of delivery.

Where are you located?

We are located on the corner of Loockerman Street and Governor’s Avenue, on the ground floor of the new Bayard Plaza building. Our entrance is the door on the corner of Loockerman and Governor’s. Our address is 200 W. Loockerman Street, Dover DE 19904.

What are your hours?

We are open Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We are closed every Sunday.

Are you open on holidays?

We will always be closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Other holiday hours will vary, and will be posted on our website and social media sites as necessary.

Is there convenient parking for the pharmacy?

Yes! There is parking specifically for the entire Bayard Plaza behind the building, which can be accessed from North Street. We are also within walking distance from various public parking lots. Street parking is also available on both Loockerman Street and Governor’s Avenue.

What prescription insurance types do you accept?

We strive to accept all prescription insurances, so the list would be too extensive to include here. Please feel free to email us (link to open email), or call us during open business hours to speak to a friendly associate who can assist you.

Are you hiring?

We will always accept applications for employment at Bayard Pharmacy, even if we do not currently have open positions. If we are hiring, it will be posted on the home page of our website, as well as our social media sites. Please obtain an application here (link to application) if you would like to submit an application for us to place on file.

Do you do immunization shots?

Yes! We are able to give flu, pneumonia and shingles shots, as well as other types of immunizations. Please call us to see if we carry the type you need. We have an immunization room for your comfort and privacy, which can accommodate one or two family members if you would like someone to accompany you while you get your immunization.

Do you accept electronic prescribing from my doctor?

Yes, we do. If your doctor has trouble finding us in their system, please have them call the pharmacy.

How can I refill my prescription?

You are able to refill your prescription on our website, by calling the pharmacy and using the automated phone system, or by calling the pharmacy and speaking to one of our friendly associates you would assist you.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes, we do! We offer a 15% discount on non-prescription items for military, senior citizen, Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce members, State of Delaware employees and medical professionals.

Can I transfer my prescriptions currently being filled at a competitor to Bayard Pharmacy?

Yes. Transferring your prescription is a simple process that we would be happy to help you with. You have several options. Your doctor can write new prescriptions, or send them to us electronically. You can call our pharmacy directly and ask the associate to handle the transfer for you. We also have an easy to use form right on our website under the Pharmacy tab of the home page. Fill in the required information and submit and we will take care of the rest.
